Women Perfect On Day Two Of World Cup
Australia’s winning streak continued on day two of the FIBA 3×3 World Cup, as the women’s team defeated Andorra and Switzerland in their opening pool stage matches.
The squad of Bec Cole, Alice Kunek, Maddie Garrick and Keely Froling were far too strong for both their opponents, with the final score against Andorra being 22-9, while they swept past Switzerland 20-14.
A Froling two-pointer secured the win against Andorra, as the Aussies wasted no time getting their World Cup campaign off to a positive start.
