Red Bull Half Court Returns to Australia
The sixth season of Red Bull Half Court is officially on our doorstep. The world’s fastest 3×3 tournament is returning to Australia, with thousands of players set to battle it out in qualifying events across three states. Every game leading to one goal, a coveted place at the National Final in Sydney, where Australia’s champions will be crowned and secure their chance to represent their country on the biggest stage of all, the World Finals in the Philippines.
Red Bull Half Court is all about owning your game and playing a tenacious offence. Teams advance by winning games, but there’s a unique Red Bull twist, one bonus spot is given to the team scoring the most points cumulatively across all games. That means that even teams that haven’t won the most games might still make it through…
This global competition runs across four continents, 13 countries, from March to October, with the season beginning in India and expanding across Europe, Africa, Australia and beyond. Culminating in Manila, Philippines, the capital of streetball, for the World Finals on December 5th.

New Formats & Experiences: Red Bull Half Court evolves beyond team play. In selected markets, a 1on1 competition and a dunk contest will run alongside the main tournament for the first time, putting individual skill and creativity in the spotlight. In certain qualifiers and national finals, the action will also move into unique environments from music festivals to nightclubs bringing basketball closer to the music, the crowd and the culture that surrounds the game.
Red Bull Half Court brings the fastest version of 3on3 basketball to players worldwide. Games are capped at 10 minutes, with the first team to 21 points taking the win. During pool play, the team accumulating the most scoring points receives the “own the court bonus” to aid in advancing to the next stage, ensuring a fast-paced version of 3on3 basketball. A further twist comes from two special three-point scoring circles behind the arc, adding a tactical edge and increasing the pace of the game.

Red Bull Half Court History: Since debuting in 2021, Red Bull Half Court has redefined global streetball, taking its World Finals to iconic locations including Rome; Cairo, set against the pyramids; Belgrade, widely regarded as a home of 3on3 basketball; New York City at Brooklyn Bridge Park; and Dubai, where the game was played on a custom LED court in front of the Museum of the Future.
The 2026 World Finals: The Red Bull Half Court World Finals 2026 will take place on December 5th in Manila, Philippines, a city shaped by its street courts and relentless basketball passion. Last season, Japan claimed the women’s title ahead of Egypt, while Egypt secured the men’s championship, finishing ahead of North Macedonia.
