NBL 3×3 Big Hustle Nationals Geelong Recap

The NBL 3×3 Big Hustle Nationals in Geelong saw some spectacular finishes across the weekend, with champions being crowned in seven different categories.

In the under-14 boys category, the Hills team from New South Wales will be going home smiling, after defeating the Burnie Tigers 6-3 in an intense, defensive minded final.

The under-14 girls category saw Norths go home with the trophies, after taking down Werribee in the final, 11-6.

The hometown Geelong Supercats made it to the semi-final in the U16 boys category, but couldn’t advance to the final, losing to Camberra in the semis.

In the final of the U16 boys, ZHBR defeated Canberra, 11-9.

Bulleen Boomers Yellow were too good in the U16 girls bracket, defeating Norths Bears in the final, 12-8.

The U18 boys category saw two Bulleen teams go at it in a heart-stopping finish, as Boomers Yellow managed to take down their Boomers Blue counterparts, 14-12.

The NT team dominated the U18 girls bracket, with their talent overpowering Team A & E in the final, 14-4.
