FIBA 3×3 U18 Asia Cup Gold Medal Feels Incredible: Heal
Australian FIBA 3×3 U18 Asia Cup gold medallist Shyla Heal says winning the tournament feels “incredible”.
Heal, the daughter of 2003 NBL champion Shane Heal, helped guide Australia to a dominant 21-10 win over Japan in the gold medal game.
“It feels incredible,” Heal said.
“It is the first time three of the four of us are playing 3×3. To get the gold medal is pretty impressive.”
The team of Heal, Georgia Amoore, Casey Valenti-Paea and Ruby Porter went undefeated throughout the tournament.
