Australia Dominates Day One Of FIBA U18 3×3 Asia Cup

The Australian men and women have dominated on day one of the FIBA U18 3×3 Asia Cup.
The women’s team, led by Shyla Heal, Georgia Amoore, Casey Valenti-Paea and Ruby Porter, defeated Kazakhstan 21-6 and Mongolia 14-5 in their pool stage matches. They now await their quarter final opponent, a game that’ll be played on Saturday August 24 at 4:40pm AEST.
The men’s team advanced through the qualifying draw, defeating Chinese Taipei 19-17, Maldives 21-3 and India 19-15. The squad of Kian Dennis, Sebastian Griffin, Daniel Foster and Jacob Richards open their pool stage matches against Kazakhstan on Friday August 23 at 4:20pm AEST. They then play Kyrgyzstan at 5:50pm AEST.
