3x3Hustle Experience Was Amazing Says Melky
Boundless Possible NT high flyer James Melky says playing in the 3x3Hustle pro events last month was an “amazing” experience due to the level of talent on the court.
Melky teamed up with Jerron Jamerson, Deola D’Brown, Fred Williams and Deba George across FIBA 3×3 Satellite events at Moomba and MSAC, with the squad making the knockout stages in both tournaments.
The Alice Springs native couldn’t speak highly enough of the opposition on the 3x3Hustle court, adding he was proud with how Boundless Possible played both weekends.
“It was amazing to play in the 3x3Hustle, the level of talent in every team was immense. Every game was hard fought, and we did really well getting (to) quarters and semis over both tournaments,” Melky told The Centralian Advocate.
Last month, Basketball Northern Territory pathways manager Rod Tremlett spoke about his happiness with how the Boundless Possible teams performed at the two Pro Hustle events.
