Sydney Warriors Fall In Semi-Final At Swiss 3×3 Satellite Event

3x3Hustle team the Sydney Warriors fell at the semi-final stage of the 3×3 Basel meets Teddybären event last night.

After defeating Team Bern in the quarterfinal 21-12, the Warriors entered the semi-final with plenty of confidence. That showed in what ended up being a tight battle, with Sydney ultimately losing to Team Lausanne 21-16.

In the pool stages, the squad of Cooper Wilks, Mike Golding, Ciaron Fitz-Gerald and Jayden Prakash defeated Team Vevey (21-7) and Ah bon (21-16), but also lost to Team Montreux (19-13).

Sharpshooter Prakash had some individual success, winning the shootout competition on day one.

Sydney will now play in the 3×3 II FCBQ Tour, a satellite event in Spain, this weekend.
