Macquarie Split Opening Games Of FISU 3×3 World Cup
Macquarie University have split their first two games of the FISU University 3×3 World Cup.
The team of Cooper Wilks, Ciaron Fitz-Gerald, Eromon Uadiale and Jayden Prakash got off to a hot start in Xiamen, China, with Wilks hitting a game winner in their opening contest against Civil Aviation University to win 21-14.
They couldn’t carry that momentum into the second game, though, falling to the University of Otago 21-11.
Macquarie closes their pool stage schedule against Uganda Christian University at 9:50pm AEDT on Saturday November 2.
In the women’s tournament, The University of Technology Sydney concludes their pool stage matches against Vasyl Stefanyk Precarpathian National University at 6:10pm AEDT on Saturday November 2.
