3×3 Big Hustle National Championships Returns to Ballarat!

3x3Hustle is excited to announce that one of Australia’s largest 3×3 tournaments, the NBL 3×3 Big Hustle National Championships, will return to Ballarat for another year on April 21 & 22, 2023.

Ballarat is quickly becoming the home of 3×3 basketball, with the recently constructed Selkirk Stadium now home to three specially designed 3×3 outdoor basketball courts.

After a successful 3×3 Big Hustle National Championships in January 2022 saw more than 70 teams compete, with 226 games across the weekend with nine teams claiming the 3×3 National Champion titles.

The 2023 3×3 Big Hustle National Championships will showcase the best 3×3 talent in Australia from ages 12 to under 18s, with over 160 teams set to descend on Ballarat for the event.

City of Ballarat Mayor, Des Hudson, said ‘ We are thrilled to host the NBL 3×3 Big Hustle National Championships for the second year in a row, cementing our position as Australia’s home of 3×3 basketball,”

“We have a strong history of hosting basketball events and with our 3×3 courts little more than one year old, it is fantastic to see them being used on such a grand scale.

“Being able to host events like this is fantastic for our city and we can’t wait to see everybody back in Ballarat.”
