3x3Hustle’s Stonnington Street Slam Returns

3x3Hustle have partnered with Stonnington City Council once again, to bring the first stop in the 2023/24 3×3 Slam Series to Prahran Square.  With the debut event in 2022, the Stonnington Street Slam is set to be bigger, and better than the first.

The three-day event will be full of action-packed basketball, with dunk competitions, shooting clinics, NBL legends shoot outs, player appearances from the NBL and WNBL, and much more.

Based at Prahran Square, the Stonnington Street Slam will encourage all lovers of basketball to watch on the sidelines, or participate in the FREE activations for a chance to win a range of great prizes. For the more experienced players, you can register to play for cash prizes in the Open Men’s and Women’s event, Dunk comp, and the Pro 2-point shoot-out, with a prize pool of $10,000.

“The Stonnington 3×3 event was a great success last year, and we’re excited to bring everyone the great news of its return,” Head of 3x3Hustle, Jaele Patrick said.

“Based in one of Melbourne’s most popular suburbs and held at a great time of year, this event is set to be the biggest yet.”

Prahran Square is the cultural and recreational heart of Prahran and provides a perfect backdrop for the community to come together, get involved and participate regardless of age or skill level,” Mayor Klisaris said.

“Sporting events like this transcend all backgrounds and connects communities. I encourage residents, sporting fanatics, basketball enthusiasts and everyday people to pop by for a bit, check out the action, get out in sunshine and play.”

The tournament will be open for ages 10 & under up to Open Men and Women, so all ages and levels of skill can enjoy the excitement of 3×3 basketball over the three days.

The event will run from Friday, December 1 to Sunday, December 3.
