3x3Hustle Monthly Wrap: July

July was a significant month for 3x3Hustle, with a number of Licensees recognising a growth in participation rates.

Over 16 events, Hustle saw 713 teams and 2,852 players flock to 3×3 courts over the month of July, with Hills Hornets holding the new event participation record.

The Hills Hornets Junior Street Hustle in NSW held 170 teams on July 17 – a historic record held across all 3x3Hustle Licensees.

“We are thrilled to witness the significant growth of 3×3 basketball in Australia,” Head of 3x3Hustle, Jaele Patrick said.

“We had a total of 16 events across the month, and we can’t wait to increase that number. Majority of our Licensees saw new personal record attendances in July, and we couldn’t be happier to hear that.”

Penrith Basketball hosted their first Street Hustle event in July with 47 teams participating in the event.

“We were excited to host our first 3x3Hustle event, it showcased the potential for future events and will become a major part of our Association,” Penrith Basketball’s Development Officer, Tahlia Tupaea said.

The Teams enjoyed the 3×3 style of play and all games were played in good sporting spirit.”
