BREAKDOWN BASKETBALL 3x3Hustle Hustle Local League

Breakdown Basketball is bringing you 3X3 Hustle Local league. Get ready & get your teams together, this is one league you don’t want to miss! Open to all players of all skill levels, not just facility members!

The 10-week local league is designed to bring basketball into a fast paced and high energy competitive game. Due to a lower number of players on each team every player has a greater impact on the game and needs to be actively involved. Whether you are a beginner or a seasoned player, 3 on 3 can be a fun and challenging format. The league has 9 weeks of pool games with a FINAL in the 10th week. PRIZE MONEY FOR WINNING TEAMS! Age groups will be split into divisions after first round if needed. Teams can sign up now for the 10-week league, with games played every Sunday night.

• Sunday 1st June – Week 10 SEMIS/FINALS

Time: 6PM – 8PM (times subject to extend pending registration numbers) Exact times to be determined once registrations close.

Location: Breakdown Basketball Training Facility – Unit 7 46-48 Jedda Road Prestons NSW 2170

Skill Level – ALL SKILL LEVELS (Divisions will be split after week 1 if needed)

Age Divisions: 12, 14, 16, 18 Boys/Girls & Opens Mens/Womens (age groups may be combined depending on registration numbers)

• 12’s & under – players born in 2013/2014 or after
• 14’s & under – players born in 2011/2012 or after
• 16’s & under – players born in 2009/2010 or after
• 18’s & under – players born in 2007/2008 or after
• Opens – players born in 2006 or before

Cost: Team Entry/Court Fees: $300 per team (registration) & $10 (court fee) on entry per person each week.

Hustle Pass: All players are required to hold a valid Hustle Pass (covers insurance). A $20 pass is valid for 12 months- see details below

Uniform: All players are required to wear the Breakdown 3×3 black/white reversible jersey. Jerseys are $55 and available at the facility reception.

Highlights: If your team wants highlight reels created let us know!

Competition rules:

• Players – Teams will need a minimum of 3 players and maximum of 4 players each week
• Registration – Players need to be registered before they can take the court each week
• Games – Teams will play a minimum of 2 x 10-minute games each Sunday night
• Uniform – All players must wear the Breakdown 3×3 black/white reversible jersey (3 point deduction for every person not in uniform)
• Forfeits – $80 forfeit fee per team
• Prize Money – 
• 12’s & under – $250 to the winning team
• 14’s & under – $250 to the winning team
• 16’s & under – $300 to the winning team
• 18’s & under – $300 to the winning team
• Opens – $500 to the winning team

No breaks after scoring, no halftime, overtime – first team to score 2 points

STEPS to REGISTER 

Step 1: Register Team via the category button above to secure your teams spot in the tournament

NOTE: Players can be added during this step if players already have a Hustle Pass. If you do NOT know the players Hustle ID’s, players can be added later.

Please read to step 2 if players do not have Hustle ID’s and notify your players.

Step 2: All players must hold a valid “Rookie” or “Baller” Hustle Pass. 

This will cover insurance to play in ANY 3x3Hustle tournament in Australia .

Each player will receive a unique Hustle ID with their Pass (eg: AD6H7Y) . This ID is how they will register for ALL 3x3Hustle tournaments in future.

NOTE: this requires setting up 2 profiles- FIBA 3×3 and 3x3Hustle.

STEPS to REGISTER for a HUSTLE PASS

Please share with parents/players who do not have a Hustle Pass. 

1. Register for a FREE FIBA 3×3 player profile at https://play.fiba3x3.com OR search players current profile at https://play.fiba3x3.com/players
2. Once signed completed the FIBA profile, in the top right hand side of the screen, it should have their name/nickname, click on the name/nickname and click on profile.
3. Once in the Profile, COPY the player profile URL (a URL is the website address) – you will need this to sign up for your Hustle Pass.

4. Open a new browser window and head to https://www.3x3hustle.com/hustle-pass-2/
5. Sign up for a minimum “Rookie” ($20) Hustle Pass – scroll to the bottom and click ‘get started’
6. Fill in the first name and surname of the player
7.      In the FIBA PROFILE URL box, paste the URL
8. Fill in the rest of the information.
9. Once completed, players will receive a Unique Hustle ID. (eg HUSTLE ID – FJBRE6)

The Hustle ID can be found by logging into your Hustle Profile, clicking on My 3x3Hustle (in the top right) and then Profile. 

Step 3: Team Leader will then add players using their unique Hustle ID to the team via the link that is sent directly to the nominated email.

NOTE: You can register a team without players and players can be added at a later date.
